Although day temperatures at these locations are normal it becomes cold in the night and so passengers must carry woollen clothes with them.

Dodham Yatra - 4 Day Tour Itinerary

Day 1Arrival at Dehradun

Day 2Kedarnath Dham

0830 hrs – Check out from hotel and proceed to Sahastradhara Helipad to commence the spiritual sojourn.
0915 hrs – Security briefing by our staff and completion of flight manifest procedures.
1000 hrs – The journey begins with a 45 minute flight to Phata helipad.
After reaching Phata helipad you will be transported by a shuttle helicopter to the Kedarnath Dham.
Temple Visit: Kedarnath is one of the jyotirlings dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is situated at a height of 3,583 meters surrounded by snow-capped mountains.
Time at Temple: Approx. 60 minutes to 90 minutes.
After Priority Darshan at the temple return to Phata by shuttle helicopter service.
Lunch will be served in our resort at Phata followed by overnight rest.

Day 3Badrinath Dham

1100 hrs – Check out from hotel after breakfast and be ready to board the helicopter for Badrinath.
Flight Duration: 30 minutes from Phata.
At Badrinath you will be taken in a car and priority darshan will be organised.
Temple Visit: The Badrinath Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, one of the Char Dham’s most important shrines.
Time at Temple: Approx. 30 minutes to 1 hour.
You will thereafter be taken to the hotel for rest / spending time at leisure.

Day 4Return to Dehradun

1200 hrs – Check out from hotel after breakfast and be ready to board the helicopter for Dehradun.
Flight Duration: 1 hour from Badrinath.
The helicopter will bring you back to Dehradun completing the pilgrimage.

Terms & Policy

Booking Confirmation:

The booking is confirmed with a 50% deposit of the charter amount. The full amount must be paid 15 days prior to the date of the journey.

Rescheduling Policy:

Rescheduling your booking to any future or prior travel date, will be done subject to availability, and on payment of 10% of the total tour cost. This will be permitted only if informed at least 28 days before the arrival date.
In case rescheduling is requested less than 28 days prior to the travel date, then the booking would be treated as cancelled & a fresh booking will be given subject to availability, after the levy of applicable cancellation charges.

Passenger Policy:

Children aged 2 years and above will be considered full passengers. Infants below 2 years of age (maximum 12 kg weight) are accommodated free of charge. For verification of the age of the child, ID proof/birth certificate is mandatory. The weight of the infant will be reduced from the total permissible weight of the helicopter.

Weight Limitations:

The seating capacity of our helicopter is 06 passengers.
Maximum weight capacity of the helicopter is 450 kg (excluding baggage weight).
Helicopter manifesting is planned based on total load and temperature conditions. All guests are therefore requested to provide us their exact weights at the time of booking.
Overweight charges are applicable @ INR 2,500/kg. This will be chargeable to passengers weighing above 75 kg. But excess weight will only be calculated on the total excess weight above the total permissible weight of all the group members combined, i.e., permissible weight = 75 Kg x (No. of pax).
Our Dodham Heli-tours is booked flying-date wise (Day 2 of the tour). And passengers must report to Dehradun one day prior to the flying date.

Luggage Allowance:

Only 5 kg of luggage per passenger is allowed in a helicopter. It is not permitted to carry suitcases or big travel bags; therefore, duffle bags will be provided by our team to each passenger on the day of arrival. Passengers will carry only the bags provided by Heli Tirth Yatra. Excess luggage would not be allowed in the helicopter.

Flight Arrangement:

Helicopters have limited weight-carrying capacity. To ensure safe flying in the hills, Heli Tirth Yatra reserves the right to shuffle passengers between different helicopters. Therefore, passengers traveling together might not be flying in the same helicopter. Passengers must maintain the same arrangement throughout the trip for safety reasons. There might be differences in flying timings between the helicopters due to operational or technical reasons. From Guptkashi to Kedarnath, passengers will be divided into different helicopters based on weight and balance requirements.

Itinerary Changes:

Heli Tirth Yatra reserves the right to alter the itinerary or flight timings a day prior due to weather/operational reasons.

Additional Expenses:

Any additional expenses, apart from the meals included in the itinerary, will be borne by the passengers. The company will not be responsible for any changes in restaurants or hotels made by the customer. Expenses made towards any new inclusion in the itinerary (in the form of newly added sightseeing destination, etc.) not mentioned previously in the original itinerary list will be chargeable on an actual basis. All kinds of expenses arise because of a natural calamity in the form of weather, government restrictions, strikes, agitations, political disturbances of other nature, etc. These expenses will be borne by the passengers. Any additional night due to bad weather, technical reasons, etc. other than the package inclusions (5 nights) will be paid for by the passengers.

Tax Changes:

Any changes in applicable taxes, government levies, royalties, or BKTC charges will result in an adjustment of the tax amount, which will be charged accordingly.

Payment Terms:

We accept payments via bank transfers, cheques, cash, UPI, and card machine.
The booking is to be done in advance with a deposit of 50% of the total amount. Balance payment will be taken 28 days prior to the date of arrival at Dehradun.
Passengers will not be permitted to board or commence the tour unless full & final payment of the tour has been made.
Payments via credit/debit card machine will incur 3.5% extra charges.
Payment via American Express / Foreign cards will incur 4.5% extra charge.

Guidelines for Passengers:

Temples in Do Dham are located in high-altitude areas. Passengers are advised to carry woolen clothes, raincoats, & regular medical kit with them.
Kedarnath Ji & Badrinath Ji are located above 10500 ft. Therefore, it is advisable for passengers to carry disposable oxygen bottles with them. in case of any breathlessness issues.
This is a fixed departure tour, and all departure timings of each destination are fixed. Therefore, passengers must ensure they report as per the mentioned scheduled ETD on each day of the tour.
It is mandatory to attend the tour briefing conducted by our staff in the evening on the day of arrival, where actual weights of the passengers will be taken and duffle bags will be provided.
Passengers are advised to carry comfortable clothing for this tour, such as kurtas and tracksuits. Avoid slippers/floaters and carry a pair of sneakers with you.
Phones are allowed within the premises of the temples, but photography is strictly prohibited inside the temples.
All the passengers traveling by helicopter are permitted to do VIP darshans from inside the temple. Sometimes the administration/government imposes restrictions on darshans from inside the temple (Garbha Griha) due to heavy rush at dhams. In such cases, darshans are done from outside only.
Carrying a proper photo ID card is mandatory for all Indian travelers. Acceptable IDs include Aadhaar Card, Driving License, and Voter ID. Foreign nationals must present a passport.
Passengers are advised to book evening late flights/trains while returning from Dehradun, as there might be a delay while returning from Badrinath due to weather/operational reasons.
We recommend keeping at least one additional day in hand at Dehradun when planning your trip.
Bad Weather Conditions: In case the journey is not finished within the stipulated time & passengers are not able to visit one or more Dhams due to bad weather conditions/technical reasons, then the company will try to complete it the next day. However, even if that is not possible, then the liability of the company will be limited to refunds of unutilized sectors.
